EAGLE LAKE STATION, COLORADO COUNTY,
has shipped for the last twelve months 2,500 bales of cotton, besides a great deal of
live stock, grain, wool, broom straw, moss, &c.
ALLEYTON STATION, COLORADO COUNTY,
has for the last twelve months shipped 5,000 bales of cotton, besides grain, wool, live
stock, &c., in proportion.
BORDEN STATION, COLORADO COUNTY,
has shipped 200 bales of cotton.
WEIMAR STATION, COLORADO COUNTY,
has shipped for the past twelve months, ending January 1st, 1877:
6,584 bales of cotton.
5,150 bushels of corn.
172 car loads of live stock.
53,760 pounds of dry hides.
1,770 pounds of wool.
3,350 pounds of broom corn.
We regret that we failed to get the number of feet of lumber received at
Weimar, for it amounts to a good many millions.
The above facts show that Colorado county is a live county, and settled up
by men of energy and industry. We want a thousand and one good, industrious farmers62
